MINI Apple CarPlay Activation
Modern MINIs share BMW's infotainment architecture, and on cars fitted with the NBT EVO-based system (Visual Boost with navigation), Apple CarPlay is supported — usually as a factory option that many cars simply don't have enabled.
We activate CarPlay on compatible MINIs using specialist BMW-group coding software, confirming your car's head unit and specification from the VIN before quoting. Work can be done at our Telford workshop or, for suitable vehicles, remotely via JVS Remote Connect.
Which MINIs support CarPlay
MINI models built on the F platform — F56 Hatch, F55 5-door, F57 Convertible, F54 Clubman and F60 Countryman — with the navigation-based infotainment are the main candidates, typically 2016 onwards. Earlier systems and entry-level units don't support CarPlay by coding.
